Ditch the car! Getting to the Lion Yard Shopping Centre

Please note: There will be NO STREET CAR ACCESS surrounding our venue LION YARD SHOPPING CENTRE from 8am to 8pm on the 6th of July 2019.

The Grand Arcade car park will be closed. This is due to a very worthwhile and relevant #StreetsforLife road closure event by Extinction Rebellion Cambridge.

Our team at the Eco Living Festival supports XR and a Unity of Purpose to have less car pollution and more clean air for our environment and public health. As you are attending the Eco Living Festival, we know you would support this too!

If you have a pre-booked place into a workshop or talk, please arrive earlier. This will ensure the events run smoothly, and you will also have plenty of time to check our stalls and eco fashion exhibition.

The protesters have said they will hold carnival style activities on the blocked roads and that they intend to allow public transport to operate, although some diversions will be necessary.
